(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said tonight that elections in Serbia will be held either on July 12 or in the period from October to the end of November this year.

- Everything is within the next six and a half months, at the latest, and maybe within two and a half months.

Depending on the situation in the country and the situation in the world, we will be guided by state interests and reasons - Vučić stated for TV Pink.

He says he believes the elections will be democratic.

He announced that the ODIHR recommendations will be fully adopted in the National Assembly of Serbia, as well as the decisions of the Venice Commission regarding the judiciary.

- Everything you asked for, you will get, and then the people will have the opportunity to say what they think about everything and what future they want.

Will it be a return to the past, a return to empty factories, to job theft, predatory privatization, further loss of territory, as we had from 2000 to 2012, or will it continue on the path of development and prosperity.

I think it will be a fairly clear choice before the people - Vučić concluded.
