Našisti, CIPS and CHIPS revolution: It's not just yours, it's a little bit ours too!

(Patria) - I don't know if you've noticed, but in the Federation of BiH, even Sundays aren't what they used to be. You think you'll peacefully buy a juice, diapers, batteries for the remote, and go home to watch a rerun of 'Visa for the Future' in your pajamas, when suddenly - Naši are on the streets again!

Several hundred supporters of Naša stranka, led by a minister who himself doesn't know if he's for or against the law he defended yesterday like Leo Tolstoy, today like Leon Trotsky, are protesting against their own ideas. Minister Hasičević, three days ago, calmly explained in the media that 16 to 18 working Sundays are a great balance, and today, in front of cameras and banners saying "Sunday is sacred", he clenched his fist and expressed support for those who demand that precisely those 16 to 18 Sundays - do not exist.

Perhaps this is the new rule of politics in the Federation of BiH: write a law, adopt it, propose changes, go out and protest against it, then agree with yourself that it's still good that you wrote the proposal for changes, but that it's even better that you won't implement it.

Because, as an old Sarajevo waiter said: "Sarajevo is a city where it's possible for the legislative and executive authorities to protest against the authorities, and then go for ćevapi at Željo's and write a new law".

And in all that Sunday drama, it somehow remained unimportant that every closed store in Sarajevo or any other city sends money directly to RS on Sundays. Close SCC, Alta, Bingo on Sundays, and watch Tropic and Đurić flourish. Perhaps Naši will hold a rally in front of Tropic in their next campaign with a banner saying "Sunday is sacred in East Sarajevo too".

And to make things even more comical - today Naši told us that "Sunday is every person's right". Exactly, I agree, but it's just as much every person's right to buy juice, chips, and batteries on Sundays. Because, as a neighbor said - "Sunday is not just yours, it's a little bit ours too".

Maybe we should all protest together for the right to have CIPS open on Sundays, so people can change their name to Nedjeljko or NeRadovan. Anyway, CIPS and CHIPS are treated as the same values in this country for a long time now.

In the end, perhaps it would be best to run the Federation of BiH like one big Facebook group: a poll on Saturday night, and whoever survives, tells the story.

Everything is possible in Sarajevo - except for politics to have a minimum of consistency and logic. But that's Naša stranka anyway. When there's nothing smart to do, they protest on Sundays.
