Attacker in Zagreb primary school assaults teacher and other students: Panic erupts, police still lack full information

(Patria) - In the morning hours, a horrific incident occurred at Prečko Primary School in Zagreb, and as citizens reported to Večernji list, one person attacked a teacher and several students with a knife.

Parents of children attending the school confirmed to Večernji that the attack did indeed take place.

One student died from injuries sustained in today's attack at a primary school in Zagreb.

The unknown attacker came to the school and entered the first classroom he encountered. During the incident, he injured a teacher and six students. Shortly after, one child died. It is reportedly a first-grade student.

Police told Index that they are awaiting feedback from the field.

According to information from parents, the situation at the school is dramatic. Students and staff are in shock, and some ended up in tears after the incident. There are many police officers and emergency vehicles at the scene. Footage posted on social media shows people fleeing the building.
