(Patria) - Five people were killed in the Home for the Elderly and Infirm in Daruvar, reports Jutarnji list.
According to unofficial information obtained by Jutarnji, a man entered the Home for the Elderly and Infirm and started shooting at people. Croatian media report that the man was born in 1973 and killed his mother, employees, and residents of the home.
Five people died at the scene, and some are still receiving medical assistance.
The killer fled afterwards, but was soon apprehended by the police near the Daruvarac cafe.
Sirens of all possible emergency services are echoing through Daruvar.
