
(Patria) - The best BiH taekwondo athletes and their coaches today departed from Sarajevo International Airport for Wuxi, China, where the World Championship will be held from November 24 to 30.
Bosnia and Herzegovina will be represented at the World Championship by Džejla Makaš, Ejla Makaš (TKD Novi Grad Sarajevo), Ada Avdagić (TKD Sarajevo), Džejna Hamzić (TKD Šampion Sarajevo), and Nadina Mehmedović (Taekwondo Academy Tešanj) in the women's competition, and Nedžad Husić, Benjamin Husić (TKD Novi Grad Sarajevo), Ibrahim Đonko, Muhamed Đonko, and Erol Nući (TKD Mladost) in the men's competition.
The representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the gathering of the world's best will be led by coaches Haris Husić and Gzim Nući.
A special motivation for all members of the BiH team who will compete at the World Championship will also be the Conclusion adopted at the recent meeting of the Management Board of the Taekwondo Federation of FBiH, which relates to monetary rewards for the first senior medal at world championships for taekwondo athletes who are members of TKDS FBiH, as well as their coaches.
Namely, the first medal won at the World Championship, whether it is gold, silver, or bronze, will bring the athlete, a member of TKDS FBiH, a monetary reward in the amount of 50,000 KM, while the coach will receive 15,000 KM.
