
(Patria) - Seven men, including two citizens of Serbia, were detained on Pag on Monday for violating the Misdemeanor Law against Public Order and Peace.
Police also detained three Croatian citizens, one Montenegrin, and one citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina on suspicion of disturbing public order and peace in a particularly rude manner in an accommodation facility in a camp in Povljana on Sunday in the early morning hours, considering the time and place where they were located and other guests.
- Criminal investigation established that Croatian citizens aged 30, 24, and 19, and a 25-year-old citizen of Serbia, came to an employee of the camp around 5 AM, where a verbal and physical conflict ensued with foreign nationals; a 27-year-old citizen of Serbia, a 32-year-old citizen of Montenegro, and a 26-year-old citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina - the statement reads.
After the mutual physical conflict inside the premises, they continued to disturb public order and peace outside the facility, damaging inventory. The suspects were arrested the same morning and taken to the police station, where the presence of alcohol was determined in most participants.
- During further proceedings, the participants of the event were examined by emergency medical personnel, who determined minor bodily injuries in three of them - the statement reads.
As reported by Dnevnik, the fight was preceded by disturbing public order and peace in a catering facility in Povljana around 3 AM, in which two Croatian citizens aged 24 and 19, and a 27-year-old citizen of Serbia participated among the mentioned individuals.
- Therefore, an indictment was filed against these three with the competent court for violating the Misdemeanor Law against Public Order and Peace, with the 24-year-old Croatian citizen being charged with violating the Anti-Discrimination Law in addition to the aforementioned - the statement reads.
