13.5 kilograms of cocaine seized at Bajakovo

(Patria) - 13.5 kilograms of cocaine were seized at the Bajakovo border crossing in a car with British registration, and a twenty-five-year-old man was arrested.

Police found money in the vehicle, driven by the twenty-five-year-old, which is suspected to originate from criminal activities, announced the Vukovar-Srijem Police Administration.

The drug packages were found on Thursday, April 30, in the evening, as the vehicle was exiting Croatia towards Serbia.

The arrested man is in custody and is charged with the criminal offenses of unauthorized production and trafficking of drugs, as well as money laundering. A criminal complaint will be filed against him with the competent prosecutor's office.
