
(Patria) - Police in Zagreb have launched a detailed investigation after the body of a young man, M.P. (22), was found.
To recall, police found a dead man on Sunday evening whom they suspect died a violent death. One person has been arrested.
As reported by Jutarnji list, the deceased is a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to this media outlet's findings, he was temporarily working in Croatia.
Zagreb criminal investigators are piecing together the murder, which occurred for an as-yet unknown reason in the living room of a house where two large gambling tables, chairs, and gaming chips were located. An intensive investigation is underway against the sole suspect, who is also a minor and a citizen of BiH.
According to Jutarnji list, the young man was killed by at least two shots fired to the head and chest.
The body was transported to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
Residents of the Zagreb neighborhood where the murder occurred stated they were not surprised by the police presence.
"That's a cursed house. When the police come to that address, no one is surprised anymore. We just wonder what happened this time," said one resident, recalling that there had been problems at the same location before due to domestic violence.
