Are the monthly earnings of the Deputy Mayor of Sisak over 5,000 euros?

(Patria) - After the new HDZ mayor Domagoj Orlić decided to raise his salary to the legally maximum amount at the first constitutive session of the Sisak City Council, the earnings of his deputy were also revealed.

Sanja Mioković, the deputy mayor, who is formally a volunteer in that position, will probably have the highest budget earnings in Croatia at the local level, writes Telegram.

The "volunteer compensation" approved by Mayor Orlić amounts to 1,700 euros net per month, which is half the regular salary of an employed deputy mayor.

Sanja Mioković remains the head of the Sisak-Moslavina County and leads the Administrative Department for the Governor's Affairs.

In the county led by Ivan Celjak, she will receive 3,330 euros net per month with the salary increase decision from June, sources told Telegram.

The total monthly earnings from these two sources could amount to 5,330 euros net for Mioković.

- I don't have the salary decision yet and I don't know how much it will be - Deputy Mayor Mioković answered in a phone conversation with Telegram.

Sisak's SDP announced yesterday that the new mayor's net salary is 4,786 euros, or 7,650.99 euros gross, which neither Orlić nor Sisak's HDZ have denied so far.
