(Patria) - Minister of Public Investments and President of the Executive Committee of the SNS Darko Glišić suddenly fell ill this morning while appearing on the Morning Program of TV Pink. Minister of Health Zlatibor Lončar confirmed that it was a stroke and that Minister Glišić is in serious condition.
Glišić was unable to finish the appearance nor could he speak, so the program was interrupted, and the minister was taken to the Emergency Center.
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić sent a message of support to Glišić. "Dare, hang in there! No surrender," Vučić wrote on Instagram.
From May 2024 to April 2025, he served as Minister of Public Investments, and he was elected to the same position upon the formation of the government of Prime Minister Đuro Macut.
He has been in the Serbian Progressive Party since its founding, and was elected to the position of President of the Party's Executive Committee at the party assembly in 2016.
