Milatović soon on an official visit to BiH: Bosniaks will always have a friend in me

(Patria) - The project "Bosniak National Identity at the Beginning of the 21st Century" was realized in Podgorica, created and organized by a doctoral student from the University of Sarajevo and representative of the Bosniak Council of Montenegro Sead Šahman.

As part of this project, a discussion was held on the topic "The Role and Significance of Bosniaks in the Western Balkan Region".

Lectures were given by Prof. Dr. Šaćir Filandra from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo and Admir Lisica, a doctoral student at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo.

The discussion was attended by the President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović, and the Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo Emilija Redžepi, who offered their own perspectives on regional political relations and the position of Bosniaks.

Milatović stated that Bosniaks will always have a friend in him, and that the Bosniaks of Montenegro are an important factor in this country.
He also stated that he sees Bosnia and Herzegovina as a friendly country, and that he will soon pay an official visit to Sarajevo, as soon as the Bosniak member of the Presidency Denis Bećirović begins his term.

The joint conclusion of the participants of the two-day conference is that regional cooperation is a necessity in the Western Balkans, and they hope for prompt admission to NATO and the EU, which would bring stable conditions to the region.
Politicians, intellectuals, and businessmen from Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kosovo attended the conference in Podgorica.
