Milatović: Eid al-Adha encourages us to strengthen bridges of trust, dialogue and mutual understanding

(Patria) - President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović attended a reception on the occasion of the upcoming Eid al-Adha, at the invitation of Reis of the Islamic Community in Montenegro Rifat ef. Fejzić.

- On the occasion of the upcoming Eid al-Adha, I extend my sincere congratulations to you, esteemed Reis, and to all members of the Islamic faith in Montenegro, with the wish that you spend the holiday days in prosperity, good health and family happiness.

Eid al-Adha, a holiday of spiritual strength and togetherness, carries universal messages of sacrifice, understanding and compassion, which remind us of the importance of caring for others and daily renunciation for the common good.

In a time of modern challenges, when solidarity and mutual support are needed more than ever, Eid al-Adha encourages us to strengthen bridges of trust, dialogue and mutual understanding.

On this occasion, I also wish to highlight the significant role of the Islamic Community in Montenegro, which is an indispensable part of the spiritual and historical fabric of our country.

Through its activities, the Islamic Community strongly contributes to the preservation of multi-ethnic and multi-confessional harmony - the values on which our society is founded.

I believe that, precisely by nurturing such values, we will continue to build a more prosperous society, founded on justice, tolerance and equality.

In that spirit, with expressions of deepest respect, I wish you a happy and blessed Eid al-Adha - Milatović said in his address to those present.
