Milanović wants to be Croatia's president again

(Patria) - Croatian President Zoran Milanović confirmed today that he will run again in the presidential elections.

- I expect the support of the SDP, I will need it for a number of reasons, including organizational, so that they don't steal from me.

You asked me, so I'm telling you - there, now, without unnecessary whys - Milanović answered a journalist's question about when he would confirm his candidacy for the president of Croatia.

He stated that he has the most knowledge and experience of all possible candidates, "but that, of course, is never decisive".

- It doesn't have to be now, but those are my trump cards - he added.

After the current president of Croatia announced that he would compete for a second term, today's reactions in the Parliament showed that from major parties, he can only count on the support of the SDP, while, for example, Možemo! and Most announced that they will have their own presidential candidates.

Arsen Bauk (SDP) briefly said that he believes Milanović should go for another race for the President of the Republic.

- He has my support, and probably the SDP's as well. That is as known as it is known that today is Wednesday - Bauk added.
