Milanović claims: NATO is entering the war in Ukraine

(Patria) - The war in Ukraine has gone in a catastrophic direction from day one, for which we are all to blame, said Croatian President Zoran Milanović today in Tivat.

He reiterated that NATO, with its new activity NSATU, is entering into a war conflict in Ukraine.

- The war has gone in an undesirable and catastrophic direction for Ukraine from the first day. Half a million men have been killed and maimed, and now what is needed? To kill and maim another 50,000?

Will that be enough to satisfy someone's appetites? Washington's, Moscow's, is that enough - Milanović asked.

The Croatian president referred in his speech to the latest NATO security assistance and training initiative for Ukraine (NSATU), which he had previously stated meant entering the war.

- We all pushed Ukraine - and I feel responsible - into catastrophic trouble. The country is destroyed, and this should stop as soon as possible - Milanović stated at a joint press conference after the Brdo-Brijuni Process summit.

He pointed out to those who want war to send their children there, while he believes that the conflict should be resolved diplomatically and that it will not end well for those who led it from the Western side.

Milanović emphasized that someone has now decided, more than two years after Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine, for NATO to get involved in the conflict.

- The NSATU mission is a mission by which NATO enters into a war conflict. Staff planning of war needs in real-time is entering into war - Milanović added.

The NATO NSATU activity was agreed upon at the summit in Washington in July this year.

The mission will consist of about 700 personnel from NATO member states and partner countries, and the entire operation will be coordinated in Wiesbaden, Germany.
