(Patria) - The current President of Croatia and candidate for a new term for SDP and its partners, Zoran Milanović, appealed yesterday to Croatian citizens to turn out for the second round of the presidential elections on Sunday.
He also urged them not to allow Prime Minister Andrej Plenković to choose a president who will be his subordinate.
- On Sunday, January 12, you will elect the Croatian president. Go to the polls.
And do not allow Plenković, who wants a subordinate to carry out his personal will, to elect the President of the Republic - Milanović stated.
He also stated that during his current presidential term, he protected the interests of Croatian citizens and institutions, as well as Croatian sovereignty.
He also pointed out the importance of the presidential elections.
- It is important that you go to the polls on Sunday and give me your trust. It is important for Croatia, for our future, and for the future of our children - Milanović stated.
