(Patria) - Croatian President Zoran Milanović announced that he collected 45,833 signatures of support for his candidacy in this year's presidential elections.
He submitted the signatures yesterday to the State Election Commission, along with the proposal for his candidacy for the President of Croatia.
"I thank everyone who helped me collect signatures, everyone who stood at the stands, and above all, everyone who gave their trust to my candidacy with their signature," Milanović said.
The first round of presidential elections in Croatia will be held on December 29.
