Milanović wants to clarify: Serbia won't like this!

(Patria) - Croatian President Zoran Milanović stated two days ago that Kosovo was taken from Serbia. That statement caused quite a bit of controversy, and many in Serbia praised it.

Now Milanović has explained his earlier statement.

"Did Serbia cede Kosovo itself? Yes, Serbia lost Kosovo, it didn't give it up voluntarily, it lost it in a war," Milanović said.

"I haven't noticed any distress among the people in Kosovo, only some doubts," he said.

He says Serbia must change some things to get to the West, Index.hr reports.

"What's happening in Ukraine is the end of a Russian-Serbian romance, Serbia will realize it's a deceived lover. Russia is bothered by Kosovo, they will have to recognize Kosovo sooner or later to legalize what they are doing in Ukraine. They must realize that they are a nuisance to Russia, there is no love there, only interest. They served Russia to carry out some of their intentions," he said.

"Serbia will have to recognize Kosovo in some way, they won't like that now," Milanović said.
