Mandžić for Patria: Hodžić says one thing, does another - he was elected to Parliament to protect the interests of Bosniaks, not Plenković's government!

(Patria) - Following my public statement and pressure, MP Armin Hodžić finally spoke out to the Croatian media.
I asked him to withdraw his support from the Government, which without his vote in Parliament would not have had a majority, all due to this government's cooperation with the Israeli government which is carrying out genocide in Palestine.

This was stated by Muhamed Mandžić, a member of the Presidency of the Party of BiH.

"It is no secret that Plenković's government stands by Israeli interests primarily due to its own alliances, and at the expense of Bosnia and Herzegovina. That is precisely why it is even more dangerous when our MP remains silent, because silence means agreement with a policy that undermines the position of Bosniaks in BiH in the long run. Hodžić's statement afterwards is a textbook example of political manipulation," says Mandić, adding:

"Allegedly, there is 'no compromise' when it comes to Palestine, but at the same time, he will not withdraw support from the government!?".

"Well, the only concrete thing he can do is to stop supporting that government. Because if he doesn't, then this government's policy is also his policy, or the policy of the minorities he represents, including Bosniaks. At the same time as supporting a government that widely opens its doors to Israeli ministers in Zagreb, he claims that there is 'no political bargaining' when it comes to Palestine. That is a contradiction he cannot hide," believes Mandžić.

This kind of "repackaging" of views, Mandžić adds, is nothing more than media marketing and image saving.

"Because the facts are clear: when it was necessary to support the initiative for the recognition of Palestine in Parliament, he remained silent. When it was necessary to set a condition for the government that receives an Israeli minister, he refused. Bosniaks in Croatia did not elect an MP to pose for photos afterwards and refine his statements, but to clearly and decisively represent the interests of the people. And while he supports a government that widely opens its doors to Israeli ministers, his statements remain just empty words without any substance. That is why I call on him once again to stop supporting the government, because that is the only way to show political responsibility," Mandžić concluded in a statement to Patria.
