The recall of the mayor of Centar Municipality, Srđan Mandić, is not a problem for the nine councilors of People and Justice, as is being attempted to be portrayed, but for all three parties that make up the "Trojka" – NIP, SDP, and Our Party, whose cadre Mandić is.

Had it not been for the unified support of these parties, Mandić would certainly not have won the elections in 2020. However, this in no way means that Mandić's inaction and unfulfilled promises should be billed only to Our Party, or SDP, or NIP, but to the "Trojka" that promised change.

In the coming days, a session of the Centar Municipal Council should be held to consider Mandić's request for a review of the recall. The nine NIP councilors have no intention of backing down or changing their stance. They will be joined by some independent councilors, as a total of 16 councilors signed the initiative for the recall.

Although the greatest attention is focused on People and Justice, whose councilors Mandić accuses of initiating the recall, the only truth is that Srđan Mandić has become a weight around the neck of the entire "Trojka".

Regardless of the declarative support he received immediately after the recall was voted on from Our Party and its president Edin Forto, and SDP president Nermin Nikšić, the essence is that there is great dissatisfaction among the citizens of this municipality and numerous voters of the "Trojka".

This recall was the last (desperate) move intended to highlight Mandić's arrogant attitude towards councilors, towards the job he is not doing, and towards the citizens.

Although Mandić skillfully tried to win over the president of NIP, Elmedin Konaković, who was unaware of what the councilors were planning, it is absurd to expect Konaković to defend Mandić while completely turning against the stance of the NIP Centar Municipal Organization.

What is left for Konaković is to shift the 'final decision' of the NIP bodies to the Cantonal Board of NIP Sarajevo. The session of the Cantonal Board has not yet been scheduled, and its holding will depend on the behavior of the "Trojka" leaders and their common stance on the Srđan Mandić case.

This is not the first time dissatisfaction with Mandić's work has been expressed, but it is the obligation of the "Trojka" leaders to realistically assess the situation. It is honest for the "Trojka" to admit the mistake, because if they close their eyes and continue with bad practices, it shows that they have not brought any new concept they promised. The same applies to the Canton of Sarajevo level, where there are evident problems in certain companies run by "Trojka" cadres.

The processes initiated regarding the reconstruction of the KS Government have not stopped after this earthquake in the Centar municipality and actually keep the "Trojka" in constant focus. Essentially, if the "Trojka" makes any further bad moves, which are already partially revealed in agreements with Damir Marjanović, Redžo Lemezan, and Admel Hodžić and their willingness to make significant concessions in the distribution of power, it will only be to their detriment.
