Kurti claims: Preparations for further attacks in Kosovo continue

(Patria) - Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated that Milan Radoičić is preparing new attacks in the north of Kosovo, and is currently holding meetings with the Serbian secret service with whom he is planning operations. Serbia denies this.

He said that Radoičić is hiding members of the Civil Protection, which the Government of Kosovo declared a terrorist organization, and that they are conducting training for them, for which they receive close to 2,000 euros per month.

"After the terrorist attack, Radoičić was released by the Serbian court in record time, and now he is continuing preparations for further attacks in Kosovo together with some members of the terrorist organization Civil Protection. Radoičić holds regular meetings with high-ranking officials of the BIA. The premises of the company in Raška, as well as those in (company) Novi Pazar Put, are being used for accommodation and storage of vehicles and explosive devices for future attacks by Radoičić and his group. Several members of the 'Civil Protection' are housed in this building, whose instructor is U. J.", Kurti said at a press conference.

He says that members of the Civil Protection are also located in a tourist park, and that a group of 80 people, who left Kosovo after previous attacks, continued their training at the Zimovnik training ground near Raška.

"Training is being conducted by retired Serbian soldiers who hold high ranks and who know Kosovo because they may have served in the army during the war with us. Exercises are being conducted for laying anti-tank mines in winter conditions and for snipers", said Kurti.

They allegedly intended to attack in November, but did not do so due to the elections in Serbia, and the second planned date was the week after the elections.

The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petković, stated that Kurti is lying when he speaks of preparations for a new attack. He points out that Kurti's goal is to continue attacks on Belgrade in order to avoid the obligation to form the Community of Serbian Municipalities.

In addition to denying any involvement of the Serbian Army in Banjska, he also retaliated by stating that there were 174 attacks on Serbs in Kosovo this year.
