Kurti incorrectly solved a math problem, then apologized

Albin Kurti, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, issued a public apology to students for a mistake while solving a math problem.

The comment followed after a video of him solving a math problem went viral on social media.

Kurti paid a formal visit to a school in northeastern Kosovo.

After confidently solving the equation, everyone in the room applauded Kurti, including the Minister of Education.

However, the problem was that Kurti answered the question incorrectly.

Social media users quickly noticed the error in Kurti's solution, which should have been "x=0 instead of x=5".

After the video went viral, he wrote on Facebook:

- Thank you for the warm welcome to your new school building. Your joy today made me long for the school desks. But, I must say that I am glad I was not a student at that time because I would not have received a passing grade. If I had thought about it for a moment longer, I would have realized that the correct answer is x=0.... The solution to that equation, as you know better than your prime minister, is x=0 - Kurti wrote.
