Criminal charges for illegal construction in the national park zone

(Patria) - Berane Security Department police officers have filed criminal charges against two individuals for illegal construction in the national park zone. Charges have been filed against A.D. from Podgorica and Đ.D. from Berane.

"It is suspected that A.D. committed the criminal offense of constructing a facility without a permit and construction documentation by building a weekend house and two bungalows in the area of Biogradska Gora National Park – Bjelasica Mountain – Šiška area during 2021. Also, Đ.D. is charged with the same criminal offense, which, it is suspected, he committed by building a weekend house in the same area in June 2025," the police statement reads.

They add that police officers will continue to selectively and without exception, decisively and transparently take measures and actions to suppress all forms of crime, especially in areas designated as national priorities, all with the aim of maintaining a stable security environment in the country.
