Krišto spoke with Plenković: Not a word about many open issues, only praise for Croatia!

(Patria) - Newly appointed Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto spoke by phone with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenković, who once again congratulated Mrs. Krišto on the confirmation of her appointment as well as on the dynamics of implementing the election results, which will ensure full stability and functionality, especially after the recent acquisition of candidate status and the strengthening of the integration process towards EU membership.

Krišto highlighted the immeasurable merits of Prime Minister Plenković regarding the acquisition of candidate status for Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the clear partnership and friendly dimension of the relations of the entire Government of the Republic of Croatia towards our country.

The first official visit of Chairwoman Krišto to the Republic of Croatia was also announced, which will be realized after the confirmation of the appointment of the new composition of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Close bilateral cooperation in all fields and the sharing of the experience of the Republic of Croatia in the process of integration into the European Union will be of immense help to the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it was concluded in today's telephone conversation between the two high-ranking political officials, the statement said.

We remind you that Andrej Plenković is one of the most responsible for the imposition of the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina by Christian Schmidt on election day, and that according to the wishes of the HDZ. It is therefore not surprising that Krišto chooses Croatia as her first country, but we doubt that she will discuss there the open issues that Bosnia and Herzegovina has with Croatia, such as borders or, indeed, the construction of the Nuclear Waste Repository at Trgovska Gora.

Institutional relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia are almost at their lowest point. Inappropriate rhetoric is causing unrest even in relations between representatives of institutions. But also among those who present themselves as representatives of the people.

“The Republic of Croatia should speak with more respect about Bosnia and Herzegovina. Unlike Croatian President Zoran Milanović, who in his statements has a completely different connotation. We are witnesses to daily interference in the internal affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina. From the east, as well as from the west. We believe that relations would improve if the agreement on the state border were finally ratified. Which has still not been ratified in the Croatian Parliament,” Kasim Trnka recently said.

He is not the only one who points out the inappropriate interference of Croatia in the internal affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but the new government at the state level, it seems, will continue with the old practice, in which Croatia will have the final say in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
