Kosovo: Triple homicide in Gjilan, police searching for suspect

(Patria) - Three people were killed, and there are also injured in a shooting in Gjilan.

Kosovo police announced earlier on Sunday that two people died at the scene, in "Ibrahim Rugova" street, and that two more injured individuals received assistance at the Gjilan emergency center.

However, as reported by Kosovo media in the meantime, the death toll has risen to three.

The suspect in the murders is Mefail Škodra, for whom Kosovo police have issued a search warrant, and have requested public assistance in locating him.

"Kosovo Police, the Regional Police Directorate in Gjilan, based on the authorization of the Basic Prosecution Office in Gjilan, in order to locate and arrest the suspect, sends this request for cooperation with citizens and the media," the police statement reads.
