Konaković sees Kant, while Nešić mocks genocide victims: Is imposing the former or electing the latter worse for the country?

He counted Bosniaks going to Friday prayers with an armed escort, refused to give consent for the commemoration and funeral in Srebrenica because the request included the word genocide, raised three fingers in front of the BiH Parliament building, did the same publicly on FTV, denies genocide, and now tells jokes on the show ‘Ćirilica’ with Milomir Marić, thus mocking the victims of the genocide in Srebrenica.

All of this is done by Minister Nenad Nešić, I am intentionally not writing Minister of Security, because his behavior brings no security to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina!

And so, the former director of the Public Enterprise Roads of Srpska opens new paths of insult and dimensions of genocide denial. The arrogance he displays is no longer even a political stance, but a much more serious, inarticulate, anti-civilizational norm, which, let's be honest, suits Nešić.

A person who can hardly express a stance in a simple sentence without sounding like an elementary school child, and who is more suited to telling morbid jokes than to doing the job he was appointed to by the Sarajevo tricolor parties, the representatives of SDP, Our Party, and NIP, assuring us that better times marked by compromise are coming. That is why Nešić can comfortably boast today that he is responsible for delivering Sky communications, without anyone warning him that these communications arrived in BiH much earlier.

But the president of People and Justice, Elmedin Konaković, who is also the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, on April 28, 2023, in his own way, in front of the cameras, relativized Nešić's behavior, again blaming the public for critically observing Nešić's savagery. Therefore, today this joke is also on Konaković, who remained indifferent to all of Nešić's previous arrogant behavior.

“We squeezed Nenad Nešić through the eye of a needle – because he raised three fingers. There! A Serb raised three fingers and someone was surprised. And I will be honest now – Nešić is the best candidate among the ministers from RS,” Konaković said.

The appointment of Nešić was also supported by the international community, primarily the American Embassy and Michael Murphy, who today, entangled between the firm stances of Serb politics and some inarticulate phenomenon of pro-Bosnian parties (which doesn't even resemble politics), assure us that we are making great progress and that compromise has paid off.

Well, if that compromise means that telling jokes and mocking victims can pass without reactions and demands for Nešić's dismissal (Christian Schmidt should also do this if politics won't) then it is clear to conclude in which direction the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina is heading.

“This Council of Ministers has the opportunity to change BiH's trajectory by reaching the consensus necessary to build a better future for all citizens of BiH,” the Embassy wrote on Twitter after the appointment of the BiH Council of Ministers, which includes Nenad Nešić.

And indeed, we have changed trajectory; since 2000, we have not been humiliated and mocked in such a morbid and primitive way.

Thus, Milorad Dodik, the president of SNSD, who did not have to be in state government but found himself there solely by the will of the Trojka and HDZ BiH, as well as the US Embassy, very openly sends the message that 'Bosnia and Herzegovina has come to its end'.

“Or, more precisely, those who swore by it brought it to its end. All that remains is for us all to make an effort to be good neighbors and part ways peacefully,” Dodik said.

Or, translated, with jokes and laughter, although nothing is funny! Perhaps it is funny to the Trojka, because it is easier to laugh now than to blush for raising a hand for Nenad Nešić and accepting responsibility, because for a long time in BiH everyone has had some rights, but any form of responsibility is missing.

I have no quote from Kant; I will leave that to Konaković and others to talk about when they are presented with the bill for the humiliation!
