Plane crashed near Zagreb, one person killed, four injured

(Patria) - A plane crashed near Zagreb this afternoon, reports 24sata. One person was killed and four people were injured and transported to Zagreb.

The plane crashed not far from the local runway. It is about the Zagreb settlement of Ježdovec, which is located near Lučko Airport.

Numerous rescue services are on the scene, and Minister Davor Božinović has also arrived at the scene.

Prime Minister Andrej Plenković also came to the scene of the accident.

- We came to the scene of the plane crash where there were five people on board. According to information from the Police, HGSS, Civil Protection, and Emergency Medical Services - unfortunately - one person has died, he said.

He thanked all services for their prompt response.

- The four injured people have been taken care of. According to initial findings, they are not in life-threatening condition, he said.
