WHO IS WHO'S BOSS The House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation becomes a victim of the games of Trojka and HDZ again: Nikšić with a nod, Mioković with a jump!

(Patria) - The session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will not be held today either.

The scenario is the same again, disagreements within the parliamentary majority have pressured the imposed Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić to once again request the postponement of the session from the Parliament.

In a letter that Nikšić sent to the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the FBiH, Dragan Mioković, it is stated, among other things: "I kindly ask the leadership of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament to postpone today's scheduled session until next week, due to the need for additional consultations, i.e., to harmonize the Bill on Amendments to the Income Tax Law".



Given that the sessions of both houses were previously postponed, and in both cases Nermin Nikšić's Government requested the postponement due to disagreements over one law, the question arises as to who is superior to whom in this story. According to the Constitution, Parliament should be above the Government of the Federation and dictate tasks to it, but it is obvious that Mioković agrees to reduce the House of Representatives of the FBiH to a government organization for fulfilling the wishes of the parliamentary majority and the imposed prime minister.


Biščević-Tokić: It is shameful that they are playing with citizensJasmina Biščević - Tokić, SDA MP, told Patria: "What Trojka is doing with HDZ is the collapse of Bosnia and Herzegovina due to personal interests. How can Nermin Nikšić's Government even request a session postponement? We are the legislative authority and they should be accountable to us, not the other way around. The Government does not schedule sessions, the responsibility lies with the Parliament's leadership. It is shameful that they are playing with citizens in this way. I think it's time for them to leave power and hand it over to people who want to work for the country".

Silajdžić: Who is who's boss?

Haris Silajdžić, MP from the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina, thinks similarly.

"It turns out again that HDZ is the boss of the Government and the Parliament of the FBiH, because it is obvious that all consultations must be completed before Speaker Mioković can start the session. The leadership of the FBiH Parliament is clearly not the holder of power as it is in normal political systems, but the executive power is the boss of the legislative one," Silajdžić told Patria.
