Bosnia and Herzegovina Kickboxing National Team Departed for World Championship in Abu Dhabi

(Patria) - The senior Kickboxing national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina departed today for the World Championship in Abu Dhabi (UAE), which will be held from November 21 to 30.

According to the latest data on the number of entries, as many as 1,994 competitors from 85 countries on all continents will participate in the championship, making it one of the largest and most demanding kickboxing championships.

Our national team consists of 37 members:
• 22 competitors - Ahmed Krnjić, Adnan Redžović, Igor Ranković, Mesud Selimović, Sanjin Alihodžić, Albert Ugrinčić, Damjan Stanišić, Edin Sinanović, Vedad Ćutuk, Rijad Kasapović, Wael Mejri, Mihailo Ranković, Alija Tucak, Sinan Letuka, Stefan Dobrijević, Nuh Hebibović, Dajan Ivanović, Haris Biber, Nedim Malkoč, Amar Lugan, Orhan Bajbutović and David Bernatović;
• 6 female competitors - Jasmina Merdić, Ivana Radić, Kanita Muminović, Dragana Maksimović, Maida Beganović and Emina Prguda;
• 5 national team coaches (technical staff) - Salko Zildžić (selector), Viktor Vasić, Adnan Redžović, Elvedin Dubravac and Denis Marjanović;
• 2 international referees - Neđo Bratić and Boris Zec;
• 1 national team doctor - Mersudin Hadžić;

• head of delegation - president of the association Branko Mihaljević (representative of the association at the General Assembly of WAKO IF).

In addition to the national team coaches, club coaches of the competitors also traveled, who will be available throughout the championship for preparing the competitors before their matches.

After successful preparations held in the past period in Vlašić, selector Zildžić, as well as the president of the association Mihaljević, firmly and justifiably believe that our chosen male and female athletes will achieve good results and justify their status as national team members and top athletes.
