How We Tainted the Resolution with Political Mud, and the Sanctity of Srebrenica with Personal Conflict - Stop in the Name of Beriz Mujić!

The UN General Assembly passed the Resolution “International Day of Reflection and Commemoration of the Genocide in Srebrenica,” designating July 11 as the International Day of Remembrance of the genocide in Srebrenica. The triumph and great victory for Bosnia and Herzegovina were celebrated for only a few days before the adoption of the same was overshadowed by the people of Srebrenica themselves. Specifically, the “prominent” ones.

The quarrel between Emir Suljagić, director of the Srebrenica Memorial Center, and Hamdija Fejzić, president of the SC MC Board of Directors, is filling media columns today. Only a few media outlets are announcing that the fourth meeting of the Organizational Committee for the commemoration of July 11, 1995, the 29th anniversary of the genocide against Bosniaks in the “UN Safe Area” of Srebrenica, is expected to be held tomorrow.

A month before the saddest day for BiH, and indeed the world, it is clear that nothing is sacred to us anymore. Although civilization died on that day, and since that July 11, 1995, we have unfortunately been writing the phrase “the most horrific crime since World War II,” resolutions are being adopted, we have Hague verdicts for genocide, the world is ashamed because it did not prevent the killings, rapes, mass graves, and the remains of the victims cannot find peace to await the day of final rest.

It seems that every story wrapped in Bosnian political mud takes on a special dimension of intolerability, as the relentless manipulation of citizens' minds can no longer be contained, all due to petty interests and personal positions.

Therefore, in the following, without giving attention to those who do not deserve it, but to those who were brutally killed simply because they were not Serbs, I am also drawing attention and knowledge to the survivors – Srebrenica is too sacred to be wallowed in mud, especially if you are doing it in the interest of some third parties who, for political reasons, want to bring Srebrenica into focus in this way.

Incidentally, currently, eight surviving families have given consent for the burial of identified victims, who will find their final rest on July 11.

Their bones were found in multiple graves. Their bones were scattered across the land you walk on now, and we should only talk about them now.
Therefore, for the knowledge of all of us – this year, Beriz Mujić, who was seventeen years old when the genocide occurred, will also find eternal rest in Potočari. His body was identified by his relative Ramiza Hasanović, and his mother is currently in America and could not come for the identification due to her deteriorating health.

This is the eighth identification of mortal remains of victims from her immediate family for Ramiza Hasanović, and she has previously buried three brothers and her father!

Put aside politics and personal conflicts of interest just before the funeral.

I am ashamed, I don't know if the actors and politics are, but also the foreign factor, which increasingly controls the Srebrenica Memorial Center.
