Čović and Dodik's Appointees as Gravediggers of the Security System: Who is the Government Complaining to About the Lack of Police Officers in State Agencies?

Zoran Galić is not yet on Interpol's wanted list, although the Court of BiH issued an order for the issuance of a "central and international wanted notice" on August 8.

The Court of BiH sent incomplete documentation to Interpol, as we previously wrote, and they were immediately asked to supplement it. However, for days there was no response from the Court of BiH.

Only after the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies sent an urgent request to the Court of BiH did they complete the missing form, but Galić is still not on the wanted list.

And he is increasingly absent from public view. It is not talked about how Galić was a civil servant and the most loyal member of the HDZ. Even though he was the director of the Border Police, he did not hesitate to publicly attend HDZ gatherings, even the most exclusive ones where the highest politics of this party, led by Dragan Čović, were decided.

The media are silent about this connection, as well as the fact that, in addition to the crime documented on the Sky application, Galić is one of the gravediggers of the very police force he led, and about which there is now only talk in the context of how many police officers are missing!?
In fact, the activities of the police at the state and other levels are reduced to hiring new police officers.

The public only talks about how many police officers are missing, as if someone else is to blame for this situation, not those who are responsible.

It is now more than clear (especially considering the HDZ's Galić) that appointees who deliberately led to this situation were placed in leading positions in police agencies and structures, thereby implementing the policies of Milorad Dodik and Dragan Čović.

The final outcome of this policy and the situation in the police is for SNSD to take over the border with Serbia, and for HDZ to take over the border with Croatia. All high-level political plans are being implemented, while the security situation is being trivialized by talking about the lack of police personnel.

Because we remind you that the Union initiated changes in December 2023 that would allow police officers, at their own request and with a medical certificate proving their psycho-physical fitness, to continue working as police officers until the age of 60.

In the same period, the Minister of Security of BiH, Nenad Nešić, visited the Border Police and discussed the staffing of capacities with the director, Mirko Kuprešaković.

Nešić visited the BP BiH again on June 6, but six months was not enough for the proposed amendments to the Law on Police Officers of BiH to be included in the parliamentary procedure. Therefore, the lament about the insufficient number of police officers must be billed to the authorities, the entire government, because there are no innocents.

The Council of Ministers, at least the part from the HDZ, as well as SNSD and its partners, are currently preoccupied with saving Galić, a fugitive who is still the deputy director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency. So preoccupied that even a trip to the European Union is not more important to them.

And that Brussels knows what is happening is as clear as day. The President of the European Police Union (EPU), Rainer Wendt, is well aware of what the three state agencies (BP, SIPA, and DKPT) are facing.

Based on the information received and an insight into the situation in the police agencies, after his visit, Wendt sent letters to several addressees, including the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Borjana Krišto, Minister Nešić, Minister of Finance of BiH, Srđan Amidžić, Minister of Justice of BiH, Davor Bunoza, Director of the Indirect Taxation Authority, Zoran Tegeltija, as well as the Delegation of the European Commission in BiH.

But even their word counts no longer, because they are also participants in the systemic destruction of the state police. Yes, if it weren't so, Nenad Nešić could never have been the Minister of Security, but neither the EU Embassy nor the EU Delegation objected to his appointment. Nor did Elmedin Konaković, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, who pushed Nešić through 'the eye of a needle'.

However, today's problem cannot be pushed through any eye, especially ours, because it defies comprehension.

Besides the migrant crisis, which is not subsiding, the situation at the border crossings themselves is alarming, where sometimes there is no control when entering BiH.

But what must always be emphasized is the material status and salaries of police officers at the BiH level, which are the lowest in the entire country. Cantonal police officers, as well as those in FUP and MUP RS, have higher salaries than state police officers.

Precisely because of the lack of personnel, a certain number of police officers from MUP RS and other agencies have joined the BP BiH in monitoring the border and preventing the entry of migrants.
And that is the ultimate goal: weakening everything state-owned and strengthening entities and cantons. Surely, even a bird on a branch understands this, but not those responsible, who, while lamenting the lack of police officers, do nothing else.
