When Honor is Lost, and Shame Disappears - The Boundaries of Greed Cease to Exist

(Patria) - In the midst of an economic crisis, the FBiH Government, led by Nermin Nikšić - or rather by Vojin Mijatović and Toni Kraljević - decided to increase their accommodation allowances by 50%, justifying it with "increased cost of living".

As if that were not enough, the federal government increased the allowance for separate living for ministers who live more than 70 kilometers from their place of work - it now amounts to as much as 300 KM.

And the last straw was the decision to increase the accommodation allowance from 300 KM to an unbelievable 611 KM, announced today by MP in the FBiH Parliament Jasmina Bišćević Tokić (SDA).

On the other hand - pensioners. For them, a "generous" pension increase of 4.49% is planned, which means around 25 KM. So, the lowest pension will now be 599 KM - just enough for a minister to cover one night in a hotel. If it's modest.

"With such shameful and extremely immoral moves, the FBiH Government shows that it has completely lost touch with reality. While workers, pensioners, and veterans rack their brains daily on how to survive, the federal prime minister and his ministers are thinking about how to live in luxury.

We remind you - this is the same government that previously decided to buy official vehicles of the Touareg, Arteon, and Audi brands for themselves. Now they have added legalised robbery to that extravagance through a decree on increasing personal privileges.

The message is clear: citizens should remain silent and survive as best they can, while they will enjoy themselves at their expense.

When injustice becomes law - resistance becomes duty. It is time for citizens to say: ENOUGH!", stated Bišćević Tokić.
