Jelena Rozga Announces Unforgettable New Year's Celebration: There Will Be Good Music, Atmosphere, and Fun for Everyone

(Patria) - The people of Sarajevo, along with numerous tourists and guests of the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, will be ushered into the New Year 2026 by Croatian singer Jelena Rozga.

In addition to her, Dženan Lončarević and Divanhana will also perform at the public celebration on the plateau behind the Sarajevo City Center.

On this occasion, a press conference was held today at the City Hall, where, among others, the Mayor of Sarajevo, Samir Avdić, and singer Jelena Rozga addressed the attendees.



- It is my pleasure to confirm on this occasion that, in line with announced expectations, the City of Sarajevo will provide our citizens and visitors with a top-tier public New Year's Eve celebration on December 31 - said Avdić.

He added that he sincerely hopes Sarajevo will live up to its reputation as one of the most desirable European destinations.



Jelena Rozga said she is honored to have been chosen to perform in Sarajevo for New Year's Eve. She promised an unforgettable celebration for everyone who decides to welcome the New Year 2026 in Sarajevo.

- There will be good music, atmosphere, and fun for everyone, but there will also be winter, so - dress warmly - Rozga said with a laugh.



The director of the Sarajevo Philharmonic, Vedran Tuce, announced the traditional New Year's concert, which will begin at 7:30 PM at the National Theatre, but a live broadcast will also be organized at the Susan Sontag Theatre Square, as well as at the location of the Public New Year's Celebration on the plateau behind the SCC.

- I had the honor many years ago to organize the first New Year's Eve at the Eternal Flame, and now I have the honor to organize the first New Year's Eve held in the area behind the SCC.

I believe that this space is ideal in terms of security and traffic flow. I think everyone will be satisfied with the choice of Jelena Rozga, Dženan Lončarević, and Divanhana.
