Severe weather hits Slovenia, storm cells reach Croatia

(Patria) - Slovenian media report that stronger storm cells have appeared over the country, moving northeast in the early afternoon.

The Slovenian Environment Agency has issued a orange warning for a large part of the country and warned that stronger storms may appear in central and northeastern Slovenia tonight.

In the coming hours, the storm could hit the east as the storm belt moves across Carinthia, Styria, and Prekmurje.

In the afternoon, the severe weather also reached Međimurje in Croatia, and residents of Hrvatsko Zagorje should also be on alert.
