(Patria) - The car used by Jose Boto, Sporting Director of NK Osijek, was riddled with bullets in a parking lot on Šamačka Street in Osijek.
The "Volkswagen Arteon" vehicle was parked in the passage between two buildings, where Boto himself resides, and seven bullets were fired into the car from the front, into the windshield at the driver's seat.
According to Jutarnji list, it all happened on the night between Monday and Tuesday, and the horrific act was committed by Boto's associate Alfredo Almeida, who recently took over as coordinator of the Osijek youth academy.
Almeida drove Jose to Zagreb yesterday, from where he flew to Portugal for a short vacation.
