No reaction from Montenegrin authorities to Mandić's congratulatory message to Dodik: Spajić in the role of a passive observer

Although several days have passed since the President of the Montenegrin Parliament, Andrija Mandić, congratulated January 9, the unconstitutional day of the RS, no one from the Government or the current parliamentary majority has commented on this matter.

In the meantime, news arrived that representatives of the coalition For the Future of Montenegro, which provides minority support to the Government of Milojko Spajić and whose one of the leaders is precisely the Chetnik duke, attended the celebration in Banja Luka.

As Montenegrin media report, the delegation of the New Serbian Democracy was led by MPs Jovan Vučurović and Budimir Aleksić.

Regarding the other constituent of the mentioned coalition, the Democratic People's Party, photographs were published last night showing the leader of that party and MP Milan Knežević and the President of the Municipality of Zeta, Mihailo Asanović, embracing Milorad Dodik.

Let us recall, Mandić earlier stated that he would not attend the celebration because it was his family's patron saint day, publicly sending a congratulatory message to Dodik. This move, as well as the departure of his party comrades to Banja Luka, came as no surprise.
Officials of the former Democratic Front were regular guests of Milorad Dodik in previous years as well.

Although support for aggressive and imperialist policies is their only programmatic principle, it is clear that Mandić's congratulatory message, from the position of the first man of parliament, represents a direct blow to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

However, from the Chetnik duke and the rest of the Russian-Serbian agents, we could not have expected anything else. More shameful, nevertheless, is the lack of reaction from Prime Minister Spajić and the rest of the Government, which legitimizes an obvious and aggressive act of hostility expressed towards a neighboring and friendly state.

The key lobbyist without whose support Mandić would not have become the head of parliament is certainly the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, about whose balancing policy regarding the decision on attending the celebration of the unconstitutional day of the RS we HAVE PREVIOUSLY WRITTEN.

Spajić, on the other hand, by adopting the stance of a passive observer and tacit supporter, sends a message to Sarajevo that Bosnia and Herzegovina has no allies among Montenegrin officials. None of the representatives of the authorities, apparently, dares to unequivocally condemn the open support for secessionist policies and, on behalf of official Podgorica, express respect for the victims of the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina, the product of which is the unconstitutional holiday, as well as the creation of the RS - a genocidal and mono-national entity, which by its existence permanently undermines the independence of BiH.

Such a message is, above all, very dangerous and harmful to the good neighborly relations between the two countries. While Andrija Mandić continues to prove his leadership over the parliamentary majority, none of the constituents of the new government are concerned that Vučić's and Dodik's protégés could, through a possible government reshuffle, come to ministerial positions and, what is even more dangerous for the state, become an integral part of the diplomatic network through ambassadorial appointments.

Instead of those who should bow their heads and offer an apology to official Sarajevo, this year too, the citizens of Montenegro are ashamed, convinced that the joint struggle is the most correct path in fleeing from the threatening and increasingly radical wave of chauvinism and clerical nationalism.
