Išerić asks Željka Cvijanović: Do you know what you are saying?

(Patria) - BiH Presidency member Željka Cvijanović stated that Denis Bećirović does not miss any opportunity to show "how much he hates everything Serbian, especially Serbia and RS".

When asked to comment on Bećirović's accusations against Serbia, which he made at a meeting of the BiH Presidency members with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, Cvijanović told Srna that Bećirović in "a rude and aggressive manner demonstrated Serbophobia and spread notorious lies about how Serbia allegedly threatens BiH".

She stated that "Bećirović contaminated the meeting, which, at least out of respect, should have proceeded in a different tone".

Legal expert and politician Enver Išerić (NES) wrote a commentary on Cvijanović's statements, asking the BiH Presidency member: "Do you know what you are saying?".

- Željka says that Bećirović "demonstrated Serbophobia and spread notorious lies about how Serbia allegedly threatens BiH". Željka should know that it is not Serbophobia when facts and arguments are presented, especially when they are supported by events from the recent past. And the events speak of Serbia's brutal aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina in the period 1992-1995. And the evidence, if anyone needs it, can be found in the UN Security Council resolutions and the judgments of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia - claims Išerić.

Why did you, Ms. Cvijanović, "allow" this?

He adds that, besides that, it is clear to everyone that Serbia is trying in every possible way, through politicians from the RS entity, to destabilize Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is quite successful in doing so. Because of this, very often, at certain planned time intervals, we hear demands for secession and some kind of peaceful separation. We also hear support for "an independent RS within Bosnia and Herzegovina". And that kind of independence is their new term, because such a term does not exist in international law.

- Cvijanović says that "BiH is not a victim at all, and especially not of Serbia, which has a fair and principled position towards it." Serbia has a principled position towards Bosnia and Herzegovina, but that position is anything but fair, as Cvijanović claims. We know this, and the statements and actions of many Serbian politicians testify to it. The conclusions from the All-Serbian Assembly also testify to this.

Išerić continues, claiming that Željka Cvijanović says that Serbia is light-years ahead of Bosnia and Herzegovina. If that is true, and it is not, why is that so. Why did you, Ms. Cvijanović, "allow" this? You have been in power for years and decades. Why haven't you developed our country in all fields? Why have you constantly blocked it? And one gets the impression from your statement that you are glad that "Serbia is light-years ahead of Bosnia and Herzegovina". That, too, is evidence that you have something to do with Serbia, and that contradicts the statement that Serbia has a fair position towards our country.

Do you hear yourself?

He says that Cvijanović claims that Serbia is bravely stepping into the 21st century, while Bosnia and Herzegovina, which you lead, has regressed to the 19th century. Do you hear yourself? Do you know what you are saying. You are leading that country. Why are you taking us back to the 19th century?

-I agree with Ms. Cvijanović that Serbia makes sovereign decisions and independently conducts its policy. And it can do so because there are no constituent peoples and blockade mechanisms there. Serbs there decide on the interests of the Serbian and all other peoples. Decisions are made by majority there. It is a civic state there. And when demands are made to abolish blockades in our institutions, then it is the unitarization of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Then it is Bosniak unitarism and nationalism.

And if Bosnia and Herzegovina, as Željka claims, has returned to the era of the darkest colonialism, then that is again because of Serbia. Because Serbia committed aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina and waged the most brutal war in which it destroyed all our infrastructure and economy and in which it was found guilty by the International Court for failing to prevent genocide against Bosniaks in Srebrenica. Because that aggression was stopped by the Dayton Peace Agreement, which introduced the High Representative to help build the state and its institutions, claims Išerić.

He emphasizes that if Serbia is progressing economically faster than Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is again due to the policy pursued by Željka Cvijanović and due to the blocking of the work of our institutions. Besides, no investors will come to us as long as you carry out various blockades and attacks on the constitutional order. That is an insecure environment, Željka.

I agree that BiH is a failed state, that is the result of your blockades

-Pass the law on state property and ensure legal security for our citizens and foreign investors. Thereby, put all the resources that our country has at its disposal into operation, for the benefit of all our citizens. You are right when you say that Bosnia and Herzegovina is a failed state. But its failure is, to a large extent, the result of your blockades. We are aware of that. Therefore, we will abolish all these blockades when making decisions in our institutions, ensure equal rights for all citizens by implementing the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights, and instead of a three-member presidency, introduce the function of the head of state, Išerić wrote.

In the end, he stated that Bosnia and Herzegovina will then be successful and functional and will not be in a colonial relationship.
