Croatian Parliament adopts law resolving issue of drivers from the region

(Patria) - The Croatian Parliament today adopted the Law on Foreigners, which opens the possibility of introducing special visas for professional drivers from regional countries, which, as announced by the Ministry of Communications and Transport of BiH, should resolve the long-standing problem of limited stay in the Schengen zone for drivers working in international transport.

The Minister of Communications and Transport of BiH Edin Forto stated that this is important news for thousands of professional drivers from the country and the region who cross borders daily due to the nature of their job.

- I hope the Law will be implemented in the coming weeks, not months, as drivers from BiH and the entire region have been waiting for a solution too long - stated Forto, announced by the Ministry of Communications and Transport of BiH, stated Forto.
