Will Konaković, Nikšić, and Forto apologize for Vukoja, as they did not apologize for Dodik!?

All indications are that Marin Vukoja will become a judge of the Constitutional Court of BiH in seven days, although he has never been a judge in his career so far. But he was a member of the HDZ, their secretary in the State Parliament, and a candidate for the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

The fact that he lacks experience and is loyal to the HDZ presents no problem and raises no doubts among the leaders and representatives of the Trojka, because as the situation develops, the legitimate conclusion will be that the Trojka is more loyal to the HDZ than Vukoja himself.

Only in this way can we explain the amount of insane conviction of the three-headed political project in the correctness of Vukoja's election and their advocacy for it to happen as soon as possible. However, since we have been living a deja vu of bad Trojka assessments since the October 2022 elections, haven't we already seen similar fervor and loyalty in advocating for the European Milorad Dodik. Without a doubt, we have, because ever since Dodik turned his back on the Americans, no one has advocated for his European values as loudly in public as Elmedin Konaković, Nermin Nikšić, and Edin Forto. They went to matches, had drinks, hugged and smiled as long as the Trojka fulfilled Dodik's wishes, which meant complete control of state institutions and processes in the hands of the most mentioned European separatist.

And then the smiles disappeared, the rakija from Bakinci evaporated, basketball went its own way, as did Milorad Dodik, who is now using the power that the Trojka delivered to him to paralyze the state to the maximum. Because Dodik knows he can still get whatever he asks from the Trojka, but for his current needs, it is more expedient to use what he has already received and undermine BiH.

Therefore, before continuing the story about Vukoja's election, it is necessary to recall that the Sarajevo tricolors promised us that if Dodik proved to be bad, they would “appear in public, apologize, and leave.”

They are running from the public, not even thinking about apologizing or leaving. But they are very focused on fulfilling the wish of their other political rights owner, Dragan Čović. And Čović wants control over the Constitutional Court. That is, the possibility that with Dodik's judges from RS, when they are elected, he can shatter any attempt to protect the constitutional order when the time comes for the final solution to the Bosnian question.

About six months ago, the leader of People and Justice, Elmedin Konaković, said in a TV guest appearance: “I am completely in favor of Vukoja being appointed a judge of the Constitutional Court of BiH.” And he was right, because after the outcome of yesterday's session of the Election and Appointment Commission, it is clear that the House of Representatives will appoint, rather than elect, a judge of the Constitutional Court of BiH.

And Article 6, Paragraph 1 of the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina states: “Four members are ELECTED by the House of Representatives of the Federation, and two members by the Assembly of Republika Srpska. The remaining three members are elected by the President of the European Court of Human Rights after consultations with the Presidency.”

However, the Constitution of this country has long been a dead letter thanks to the Trojka. Because of this, the Constitutional Court of FBiH has its hands full, so on the 27th of this month, it will consider as many as four requests from the opposition following the unconstitutional actions of the Trojka and HDZ in the House of Representatives of FBiH.

Nermin Nikšić, the president of the SDP, has been supporting Vukoja as a candidate for judge of the Constitutional Court for a year now, but it is quite clear that there is a precisely visible motive for Nikšić to do so. Because Nikšić himself is against the Constitution, and at the same time, as an imposed prime minister, he likes to break and trample on the norms of this country in order to fulfill the wishes of partners, bosses, and whoever else. From Vareš to Vukoja, there is no significant difference.

Edin Forto, the figurehead president of the party controlled by Sabina Ćudić (NS), doesn't have much say anyway, but he also sees no problem with Vukoja being a judge of the Constitutional Court of BiH.

“I don't have a specific opinion about Mr. Vukoja; he was chosen by the commission in accordance with existing procedures. I don't think it's good for him to be directly politically involved, but upon appointment to the Constitutional Court, all politics ceases,” said Forto, once again offering proof that he has seriously strayed into political waters. This is the same Forto who believed in Dodik's European values. Therefore, let us explain to him that Dodik's European values are proportional to Vukoja's apolitical nature in the role of a constitutional judge.

The old saying goes: “If three people tell you you're drunk, lie down and roll around.” Following this folk wisdom, if the leaders of the Trojka cannot, then at least the parliamentarians who directly represent the people should listen and hear the clear messages that Vukoja's election is much more than a betrayal. Much more, because some betrayals can be fixed, in two or five years, Vukoja is a mistake that, if elected, will haunt us for the next 20 years. And the question is whether we, as a state, will survive that period with a constitutional combination of Dodik - Čović cadres!?
