(Patria) - Thousands of students and citizens are heading towards Novi Sad where tomorrow, November 1st, the first anniversary of the canopy collapse at the Railway Station, which claimed 15 lives, will be marked, with one more person dying later.
Around 400 cyclists of various ages also set off for Novi Sad from Belgrade.
Students and citizens from all parts of Serbia have set off to mark the anniversary of the deaths of 16 people. A large number of students also set off from Novi Sad.
Students who are blocking the roads announced the detailed program of the rally to be held tomorrow in Novi Sad on Instagram. Departure from assembly points is at 10:30 AM, and gathering in front of the Railway Station at 11:30 AM.
Trains from Belgrade to Novi Sad and back have been suspended due to, as unofficially stated by the Ministry of Interior, a bomb threat. It is not possible to buy a ticket for this route on the Srbijavoz website, as the information displayed reads: “No trains on the requested route. Please try again with new parameters”. Trains will not operate tomorrow either.
Earlier, road routes towards Novi Sad, i.e., the highway, were blocked due to alleged works.
