(Patria) - Citizens who gathered at the ProGlas protest on Terazije in Belgrade have arrived in front of the Constitutional Court.
Thousands of people are on the streets.
Citizens gathered at the protest stopped at the building where the sessions of the Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) are held, where they loudly chanted "Boo" and showed "red cards" to these institutions.
At the protest, which is being held with the demand for new elections to be held within six months, after a fundamental change in electoral conditions.
The protest of the initiative “ProGlas” due to the falsification of the electoral will in the elections held on December 17, began at noon in front of the Terazije Fountain in Belgrade. They called on citizens to a peaceful protest under the slogan “We do not agree”.
"I live in a dictatorship and I am fine" - with these words, Law Faculty professor Miodrag Jovanović began his address in front of the Law Faculty. He warned that this could become a mantra if things continue like this.
"The current government tried to pass off voter migration from one place to another as elections," said Jovanović.
He called on citizens to send all material that could support evidence of election fraud to the ProGlas email during the holidays.
Vice-president of the Freedom and Justice Party, Marinika Tepić, who has been on a hunger strike for the 13th day, addressed the attendees at the “ProGlas” rally at the Terazije Fountain.
Marinika Tepić was helped onto the stage by colleagues Miroslav Aleksić and Radomir Lazović. She addressed the crowd in a visibly poor condition, but with a smile on her face and tears in her eyes.
„I apologize that I cannot, and I don't have much to tell you. I have already said everything, that these elections must be annulled“, said Tepić and stepped down from the stage with the help of her colleagues. She was immediately transported to intensive care afterwards, the Freedom and Justice Party announced.
The leader of the list "Serbia Against Violence" Miroslav Aleksić stated that it "no longer makes sense" to gather in front of the RIK because there is no one there anymore, but that there will be actions after the New Year and that plans are being made.
