Helez releases video of BiH drone: Bosnia and Herzegovina keeps pace with neighboring countries in armament

(Patria) - Minister of Defense of BiH Zukan Helez today published a video of a domestically produced drone on his Facebook profile - for those who "don't believe our country has drones".

"Since I went public with the information that Bosnia and Herzegovina has been producing drones for some time, I have been fiercely attacked by paid media and various analysts.

When I published the video of the BiH drone flight, these attacks briefly subsided. They probably needed time to come up with a new lie to belittle my work and our defense industry.

The last thing they wrote was that these drones are Chinese. I am used to attacks, I know how to deal with them, and I know how to respond. I feel sorry for the people who invested enormous effort, work, time, and knowledge, only for someone to arbitrarily belittle their product.

The BiH drone is a reality, completely produced in our country. The BiH drone is competitive with the best products of its kind in the world. It can carry six grenades of immense destructive power.

One grenade is enough to destroy a tank or a larger residential unit," stated Helez, without information about which company produces these drones.

He added that this drone is currently intended only for export.

"Within the institutions of BiH, in accordance with the legal regulations of our country, we will agree on when and how the Armed Forces of BiH will start using this product. By producing the BiH drone, Bosnia and Herzegovina is keeping pace with neighboring countries in armament," Helez announced.
