ARREST IN ROVINJ 59-year-old Dane filmed naked children with a pen camera

(Patria) - Istria police arrested a 59-year-old Danish citizen on suspicion of filming naked children with a mini camera in a ballpoint pen, committing the criminal offense of child exploitation for pornography, the Istria police reported.

Rovinj police conducted a criminal investigation and determined that the 59-year-old Danish citizen committed the criminal offense of child exploitation for pornography. On August 1, around 6:50 PM, security guards found him in a tourist facility in the Rovinj area filming naked children with a mini camera in a ballpoint pen.

Based on an order from the competent court, police officers searched the facility where he was staying and the vehicle he uses, and seized his laptop and USB drives, on which incriminating content was found.

After the criminal investigation was completed on Friday evening, the suspect was taken to the detention unit of the Istria Police Administration.
