Grlić Radman: Serbia far from confronting its past

(Patria) - Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman believes that the reaction of Serbia's leadership to the Resolution on the Srebrenica genocide shows that the country is far from confronting its past.

Grlić Radman emphasizes that the Resolution does not declare any people as genocidal, except that the United Nations committed to commemorating the event, Hina reports.

- This resolution aims to contribute to ensuring that the crime of genocide never repeats anywhere again - Grlić Radman states.

He adds that international courts have established that genocide occurred in Srebrenica and that Serbia neither prevented the crime from happening nor punished its perpetrators.
