FK Velež announces competition: Club director sought

(Patria) - Football club Velež has announced a competition for the position of club director, a role that carries full responsibility for the overall operations and development of one of the most renowned sports collectives in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As stated by the club, the director will be responsible for strategic, operational and financial management of all segments of work in accordance with the adopted budget.

Key tasks include leading administrative, marketing, commercial, logistical and infrastructural activities, managing the budget and ensuring financial sustainability, as well as developing relations with sponsors, partners, fans and the wider community.

Candidates are required to have a higher education degree in economics, law or a related field, at least three to five years of experience in managerial positions, and proven experience in financial management and cost control. Excellent organisational, negotiation and communication skills, strategic planning ability, and knowledge of the sports environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region are also desirable.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with sponsors, public institutions and international partners, as well as those who are proficient in English.
