The Federation will be an economic copy of the devastation in Jablanica at the end of Nikšić's rule!

For the past six months, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by imposed SDP Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić, has shown an inability that will, it seems, be remembered as a dark chapter in the history of this entity.

The devastating floods and landslides that hit Jablanica and surrounding municipalities left devastation behind, and the federal government failed to provide a quick or effective response. Jablanica today stands as a symbol not only of a natural disaster but also of inglorious crisis management – a monument to the incompetence of a government that promised much and delivered little.

However, Jablanica is not an isolated case.

The same neglect that befell this municipality, the FBiH Government has also shown towards the entity's economy.

In secret, hastily, and without serious dialogue, a law on the minimum wage was passed, which, instead of improving the standard of living, actually endangered the fragile economic chain of the Federation. Employers, workers, and entrepreneurs were left confused and fearful of the consequences, while the vertical of economic stability crumbles under the weight of bad and ill-considered decisions.

However, the Prime Minister of the Federation does not want to listen, let alone talk to economic experts who have been consistently warning that the decisions of the imposed government will have a devastating effect on the economy of the Federation. Instead of accepting serious dialogue, Nikšić insults most interested parties, aware that he can push through most bad decisions by force in the parliamentary procedure.

How much Nikšić's Government has helped workers is shown by the official data that in the first two months of this year, about 10,000 workers were hired, and about 15,400 workers were laid off.

The situation is similar with the Law on Non-Working Sunday. It is becoming increasingly clear that the Law has not protected workers, but this move has forced citizens of the Federation to satisfy their needs in neighboring municipalities of Republika Srpska, where the budget is filled at the expense of federal failures. While traders in the FBiH count losses, Nikšić's government continues to ignore the reality on the ground.

And while the Prime Minister of the FBiH is concerned about female workers in trade who would not be free on Sundays if shops and other business premises were open, Member of the FBiH Parliament Admir Čavalić refutes him with a concrete example.

Thus, Čavalić today announced the realization of what he had warned about in the past – shopping centers and smaller shops are becoming convenience stores.

“Another consequence of the FBiH Government's measure. We have been writing about this for a year. Bots are making noise, it's our job to investigate. Let the populists now explain to the female workers why they have to work 24/7 instead of sleeping at night like everyone else,” Čavalić wrote on network X with examples of shopping centers that have changed their working hours to 00 to 24 hours throughout the week, i.e., they have become convenience stores and avoided the decision of Nikšić's government.

In conclusion, after the mandate of this imposed government and its prime minister, it is easy to assume that the economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be a post-apocalyptic copy of the devastation of Jablanica as a symbol of the rule of the Trojka and HDZ.

Jablanica, unrepaired and abandoned, is only a mirror of the bigger picture: an entity that will sink under the weight of bad decisions and unfulfilled promises.

A government that the citizens did not elect clearly feels free not to care about those citizens!
