Faris Alihodžić in the final of the Balkan Boxing Championship

(Patria) - The Balkan Championship in Olympic boxing is being held in Serbia from November 18 to 24.

13 national teams from Balkan countries are participating in a very high-quality and strong competition, including Bosnia and Herzegovina.



In the fights and performances so far, our national team members have put up quality fights.

In tonight's performance in the semi-final fight, our national team member from the boxing club Novi Grad from Sarajevo, Faris Alihodžić, in the super heavyweight category, won against the Moldovan national team member in an excellent match, thus qualifying for the final and the fight for the gold medal.

According to the competition schedule, the final fights are scheduled for Thursday.



- We expect Bosnia and Herzegovina and our Faris to win the gold medal - these are the words of the national team's professional staff Almedin Fetahović, Enes Pešteka, Redžep Halilović, and Mensur Peljta.
