Fajon on possible sanctions against Dodik: We are monitoring the situation in BiH, all options are on the table

(Patria) - Slovenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Tanja Fajon says that official Ljubljana is monitoring the situation in BiH and that all options are open regarding the possible introduction of sanctions against RS President Milorad Dodik.

- For now, we are monitoring the situation. We will monitor how it unfolds. From our position, I can say that we have all options on the table - Fajon said after the meeting of EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg.

She stated that sanctions against Dodik were not on the agenda at today's meeting, reports the Slovenian Press Agency (STA).

- The law and the independence of courts must be respected, and that is how we will act in the future - said the head of Slovenian diplomacy.

She also emphasized that she "does not see Dodik's readiness" for talks and that statements about the secession of RS harm the state of BiH on its path to the European Union.
