Explosion at military factory: Several people injured

(Patria) - During the morning hours, an incident occurred at the military factory “Sloboda” in Čačak (Serbia). As Serbian media report, there was an explosion in the pyrotechnics section.

- Four people were injured in this explosion, while the other workers were sent home. Police and emergency medical teams are on the scene - an unofficial source familiar with the situation on the ground told RINA.

Explosions at the Sloboda military factory occurred several times in 2021, so residents of nearby houses are afraid.

- A strong detonation was heard, it woke us up and nothing more. Let it end here - added a frightened local resident.

According to still unofficial information, one young man suffered severe hand injuries in this explosion.
