Efendić: Decisions of the 'All-Serbian Assembly' in BiH are being implemented under the guise of the EU

(Patria) - The president of the Party for BiH Semir Efendić was a guest tonight on Hayat Television's '7plus' show, where he spoke about the protests in Serbia, the joint marking of Sretenje in Banja Luka, and the current political situation in BiH.

- The Greater Serbia policy is clearly alive, but in the form of the 'All-Serbian Assembly' declaration, which attempts to integrate the institutions of Republika Srpska and Serbia. This is just circumventing laws and rights.

We have had these warnings before, and it is particularly evident now. I hope that the better side of Serbia will succeed in overthrowing Vučić.

Never has such a strong and massive resistance organization been organized. In the local elections in Belgrade, you have buses coming from Republika Srpska.

I hope this action will result in Vučić ending his political career. That would be a great relief, but it is a matter of another country.

However, we can influence Dodik not to have the power he has, and all of this could have happened two years ago when the Troika chose him - says Efendić.

Speaking about the policy of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, which has brought Serbia to the state it is in today, Efendić emphasized that this is precisely why Vučić came to BiH to mark Sretenje.

- Perhaps Vučić will survive for some time, but blatant lies are not something that will last. This is a great culmination of social tension due to dissatisfaction with Vučić's policy. That is why he came to BiH to mark Sretenje, because he himself caused the situation in his country.

As a consequence of SNSD being in power, we have seen a decadence of BiH's strength and sovereignty. The best example is the latest law where decisions of the 'All-Serbian Assembly' are being implemented under the guise of EU law - claims Efendić.

He also points out that such actions must be responded to adequately, not by allowing Dodik to create things in the country.

- The declaration is a step forward compared to SANU, as the ministries' actions are coordinated in line with the Assembly's goals.

He also reminds that at the beginning of the negotiations on forming the state government, the Party for BiH warned that they should not go with Dodik, but with the opposition from Republika Srpska.

- We said that it makes no sense to form a government with Dodik, but they did not listen. And now they want to exit the marriage with Dodik. We have the Troika saying they will replace SNSD with the opposition, and HDZ says this will not be done.

When we will get out of this situation is unknown. It is possible to connect crisis situations in our country. After Trump's election, new policies towards the region and Europe are expected, and we have no vision for finding solutions to these challenges. If they have dismantled the majority, it should be clearly stated who is in power - concluded Efendić.
