(Patria) - The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić discussed the preparations for the All-Serbian Assembly on June 8, with a message that the unity of the Serbian people will be confirmed.
Vučić shared a joint photo with Dodik on Instagram, stating that they had important discussions about the preparations for the All-Serbian Assembly on June 8.
"Excellent meeting with Dodik. Preparations for the Assembly on June 8 were the main topic of discussion. The unity of the Serbian people will be strongly confirmed," Vučić wrote.
The Assembly was supposed to be held on May 5 because it was expected that the Resolution on the Genocide in Srebrenica would be adopted beforehand. Given that the UN General Assembly session was scheduled for May 23, Dodik and Vučić postponed the Assembly.
Both of them, both before and after the adoption of the resolution in the UN, threatened that a "Pandora's box" would be opened within BiH but also in relations with Serbia, while Dodik announced that he would offer his partners "peaceful separation from BiH". He soon received a response from the US administration that such a thing was not possible and that such moves would only accelerate the end of RS.
